Mary Ngikadelio is the founder of Chorogascar Diaries. Born and raised in Turkana, she is a native speaker of Ng’aturkana and is also fluent in Swahili and English, with working knowledge of German. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from Theologische Hochschule Friedensau University in Germany and brings over ten years of extensive fieldwork experience throughout Turkana County.

Mary’s deep cultural knowledge, linguistic ability, and practical field experience uniquely qualify her as a translator, interpreter, cultural guide, and field consultant. She possesses an intimate understanding of Turkana’s land, traditions, and communities, enabling her to facilitate meaningful communication and engagement.
